That’s how my mind is, just like the sky.
One morning you’ll wake up and the sky will be light blue and clear, without any clouds.
The next it’ll be covered in grey clouds and raindrops. Then the sun will appear out of nowhere and make all of the grey clouds disappear. Then for some days, even weeks the sky will be all blue with only small white clouds drifting peacefully on in the wind. And you might even forget that the sky can look any other way, than blue and bright. But suddenly everything will turn black. No sun, no white clouds, no blue skies. Only big black clouds with no silver linings. And there ain’t no way of avoiding it. No way of ignoring it. It will just consume everything for a while; make everything black for a while. And the slowly lighten up, letting the sunlight break through – bit for bit.
That’s how the sky is, just like my mind.
